Working on multiple areas of the hospital, we enhanced the existing interior to create a welcoming and imaginative atmosphere that contrasts the clinical feel of a medical environment. Bright pops of colour and playful motion sensored “insect” features contribute to an overall sense of storytelling. The reception concept is comforting yet still indicative of a child-like atmosphere via the use of graphics, playhouses and climbing furniture. The Doctor’s Lounge takes cues from a working cafe environment with communal tables and a variety of seating options to allow for comfortable and enjoyable breaks.
