Celebrating You and I

February, the time of year when romance lingers and seasons change. To us at Brand Creative, February represents a month of celebration, reflection, and purification after the year’s endeavours. Our very own “Roman Februalia”, if you will. This month, two very important festivities are celebrated. Our Birthday (14 February) and Leadership Day (20 February)! Celebrating 12 years of polishing silver and turning it into gold. Leadership Day is a day to celebrate all the leaders in the world that have bled, cried, and broken their bones to make our lives a little bit easier – especially those in the branding and design industries. It is a day to recognize the hard work, creativity, and dedication of those who are leading the way in branding, design, graphics, interior design, and more. At Brand Creative, we take this day very seriously and use it as an opportunity to reflect on our accomplishments over the past year. We also use it to honour our founder on our birthday by celebrating all the wonderful leaders who have helped us grow our wonderful business – looking at you Carla! We love Brand Creative because she loved it so much that she made it a reality for all of us. With every step closer to our goal, the BRC team weaves closer together. Like a fortress, our complimentary minds are the reason why we push so hard to succeed! Without the fiery drive and unstirred determination of those that came before us, we wouldn’t have a trail to follow – and without the amazing clients that have worked alongside us to bring ideas to life, no pot of gold to find. Thanks to our teamwork, Brand Creative has won upwards of 30 awards in our lifetime, 5 in just the previous year - and we aspire to win many more!

Through birthday celebrations and reflecting on our amazing leaders, it’s impossible not to become overwhelmed with serenity in your own mind – pondering on the fact that within each and every one of us, there is a life-changer, a heartbreaker, a heart healer, and everything in between. Deep within the crevasses of our own psyche, there is an essence of a leader just waiting to be revealed to the world. A creative ass-kicker, motivation in times of avolition, fire when the nights grow cold, an honest and empathetic spearhead. Besides, you’ve made it this far, haven’t you? You with all your quirks and crannies. All your voices and alter egos. You have led every aspect of yourself into multiple battles and through fearless fervour and strategic decision-making, you have reigned victorious. As you always have and always will. Do not forget this Leadership Day, that within you is a genius, a master, an expert. Take this month, this Roman Februalia, and go ahead into battle with your head strong and your pencils drawn. It’s time to get creative and show the world what you’re made of. Happy Birthday to the entire Brand Creative team and happy celebrating to everyone in our inner and outer circle.
